The Ortizan X10P, on the other hand, has a more classic design, with a cylindrical shape and two rubber bands on the sides to protect them. And, if we look at the colour, it is interesting to see that in both cases we can choose between several colours, depending on the availability of stock at any given time.
Battery life
Battery life is also another differentiating factor, although in this case, the advantage goes to Ortizan. According to the brand itself, this speaker can operate for 30 hours with music playback alone. In contrast, the JBL has a battery life of approximately 5 hours.
LED lights
One of the most interesting aesthetic features of the Ortizan is that it has LED lights on its sides that change to the rhythm of the music, which we find very amusing. In contrast, the JBL lacks this feature.
Party Boost functionality
But don’t think that only Ortizan incorporates its own specifications, JBL does too. In this case, we find the Party Boost function, by means of which you can synchronise the speaker with another speaker with which it is compatible to amplify the music you play.
Degree of resistance
Another aspect in which the two models differ is the degree of protection they have. In case you are not very familiar with this, it is measured by the IP rating followed by two digits, each of which measures the level of resistance to dust and water.

Finally, we have to decide which model to choose, a decision that is not easy, but for which we are going to give you our opinion.
We were very positively surprised by the performance of the Ortizan speaker. Being a lesser-known brand, we didn’t expect to find such high performance and, above all, such high performance in terms of sound quality and power.
We also love the LED lights, which give it a fun touch. Nevertheless, in this case, we’d go for the JBL Go 3. Firstly, because of its higher dust resistance, as we often use it at the beach. And also because we love the Party Boost function and the original design. This design, in turn, is perfect for taking the speaker on a trip, as it takes up less space.
The audio quality is JBL, which is one of the leading brands in this respect, and it is exceptional. And, considering that the price is the same, even, the JBL can be cheaper with a good deal, it seems a better decision.
But, whichever portable speaker you choose, the decision will be the right one, as they are very close in audio quality and power, the main aspects when it comes to choosing a speaker.
