Forget thinking only about Dyson or Rowenta if you’re thinking of changing your hoover, because more and more brands are emerging with the clear objective of positioning themselves as competitors to be reckoned with. And they are succeeding. For now, these two brands that are the stars of this review have caught my attention: Vistefly vs PrettyCare.
For starters, I can tell you that both models are much cheaper than any Dyson, and even than Cecotec hoovers (which already reduce the price a lot). And, in terms of performance, they have nothing to envy. I have my clear favourite, which is the PrettyCare, but I want to explain all its advantages and disadvantages so that you can decide whether it’s also yours or whether you opt for Vistefly. Here we go!

Before going into details about the hoovers, let me contextualise where each of the two brands featured in this review come from. It’s interesting to note that both brands are of Chinese origin and relatively new. In the case of PrettyCare, we are talking about a company that emerged in 2009 specialising in the design of small household appliances, and which has specialised mainly in lightweight cordless hoovers.
And Vistefly? This brand is even younger, as there are no records of it before 2016. And, like PrettyCare, it has its origins in China, and is fighting for a leading position within the market for cordless hoovers of the same style as those of the rival brand. In fact, it is easy to see this at a glance, because both hoovers have a very similar design, which is evidence that we are dealing with very similar models.
Vistefly vs PrettyCare: What models are there of each hoover?
You already know that a common practice among brands is to launch several different models of each hoover, so I’m going to explain which ones we can find in Vistefly and PrettyCare, and how to differentiate them:
Vistefly V15 and V15 Max: the difference between these two models lies in the suction power, which is 27000 and 33000 Pascals respectively. In addition, the Vistefly V15 has a 1 litre tank, compared to 1.2 litres for the Max, and there is also a slight improvement in the autonomy of 50 and 60 minutes respectively.
PrettyCare W200 and W300: Now, we focus on the PrettyCare W200 and W300 models. The differences between them are quite small; in fact, we highlight that the W300 has slightly more battery capacity and also slightly improved power. Also, the screen is present in both models, but it is only touch-sensitive in the W300.
In reality, the two models are very similar in both cases, with some improvements in terms of features, but the trend is quite similar. That said, let’s continue comparing the two brands!
Vistefly vs PrettyCare: Which brand has better power?
Power and suction performance is one of the aspects I tend to look at the most, and generally speaking, so do users. It’s true that it depends on each model, but focusing on the V and W series respectively, it’s worth noting that they are really evenly matched. It is true that, theoretically, Vistefly has about 30000 Pascals, but PrettyCare is between 20000 and 33000. And, in practice, I assure you that the difference is very difficult to perceive.
The power level you are working with also has an influence, because remember that in both cases it can be regulated. So, after having tried both, I have to admit that the suction power is pretty equal in both cases. Don’t expect to find the same power as a Dyson, but it’s not bad at all.
Vistefly vs PrettyCare: Does the battery change?
Slightly, but something does change. The Vistefly hoovers have a 2600 mAh battery, while the PrettyCare has a 2500 mAh battery. Is this a noticeable improvement? No. In fact, the Vistefly models may last about 5 minutes longer, but this will depend more on how we optimise the suction power setting than on the battery capacity itself.
What is interesting to know is that in both cases the battery is removable, so we can buy a second one so that we always have one charged. However, it does take a long time to charge, so plan ahead.
And to check how much battery is left, there is a round display in both cases where you can see the remaining battery level. The PrettyCare W300 goes a step further and makes this digital display touch-sensitive, but the functionality of displaying battery information is available on all models.
How is the filtration level?
One of the things I always say to people who ask me which hoover I would recommend is that it depends on whether or not you are allergic. In this sense, let me tell you that Vistefly has a slightly more reinforced filtration system, with 6 stages, compared to the 4 stages that Vistefly has. However, both models have cyclonic technology and high efficiency filters, which are the most important parts to achieve a good sanitation of the environment.
Vistefly vs PrettyCare: How are the suction heads?
The head and brushes included in each hoover are also a good identifying sign that give you an idea of what they are like. For example, here are some commonalities:
Front LED light: all the hoovers that are part of these brands have heads in which there is a row of LED lights on the front. Consequently, they are all perfect for vacuuming rather dark areas.
The brush catches your pet’s hair. Whether it’s the V-shaped design of the Vistefly brush or the rotating brush that PrettyCare has, both are pretty good at catching the hairs your pet leaves around the house.
If we look at the accessory set, we have to admit that both Vistefly and PrettyCare equip their hoovers very well. Generally, in addition to the main multi-functional brush, there is a narrow crevice nozzle and a soft round brush that is perfect for cleaning ornaments and furniture.
However, neither of the two brands have flexible hoses, which is something we do miss and which other brands such as the Conga Rockstar range (in their ErgoFlex versions) do have.
In this section I would also like to tell you that both Vistefly and PrettyCare hoovers can be used as broom, upright or cordless hoovers. In other words, they can be used to clean any surface, if you like.
Vistefly vs PrettyCare: Which hoover is more worthwhile?
In reality, either is a good choice because they are very similar in every way. Vistefly’s are slightly more expensive, so if you’re looking for value for money, PrettyCare’s are better value for money. In fact, the theoretical differences in operation are really theoretical, rather than practical, which means that they are not noticeable on a day-to-day basis. However, for me it is important to save some money if I am going to get a very similar or almost the same result.
For this reason, my decision is to opt for PrettyCare, specifically the PrettyCare W300, which is more complete and has more power. Even so, I have to admit that the Vistefly hoovers are super effective, versatile, practical and, why not say it, beautiful too. So I can only say that you should think about your needs and your limitations to choose, but whatever your decision is, you will probably get it right.
