Tineco One S3 vs One S12 vs A10 Hero vs A11 Master: characteristics
Below, we unveil the pros and cons of each cordless hoover to give you the full lowdown:
1) Tineco Floor One S3 – Scrubs and vacuums simultaneously
We start with the only hoover that incorporates the mopping function:
What’s good about the Tineco Floor One S3
The Tineco Floor One S3 is able to vacuum and mop at the same time, for which it has two different tanks. The clean water tank holds up to 600 ml, while the dirty water tank has a capacity of 500 ml. And for total independence, it has a self-cleaning brush system, as well as a four-stage HEPA filter.
Importantly, you can regulate its power automatically thanks to the built-in iLoop sensor. You can check the chosen power level on the built-in LED display. The added technological value is provided by the WiFi connection, which allows you to synchronise the hoover with a mobile app and give voice instructions.
Downsides of the Tineco Floor One S3
The addition of two tanks for mopping makes it impossible to turn the Tineco Floor One S3 into a handheld hoover. On the other hand, the operating time is somewhat reduced, 35 minutes, and it does not have LED lights on the main brush, unlike its rivals. It also comes at a somewhat high price.
2) Tineco A10 Hero – Perfect for all budgets
Here we look at the pros and cons of the Tineco A10 Hero, which is the cheapest of the four:
Advantages of the Tineco A10 Hero
Most importantly, the price of the A10 Hero is the lowest of the four. This in turn means that its performance is more limited, but still sufficient to provide a satisfactory result. Its motor is rated at 350 watts of nominal power and 17000 Pascals of suction power. Although this is lower than that of its rivals, it provides enough power to clean a standard home.
In this case we do find a brush that has LED lights on the front, in order to improve visibility in the darkest areas. Also noteworthy is its high-efficiency filtration system, and its ease of use thanks to the fact that it is very light. In fact, its 2.3 kilos as an upright hoover are reduced to 1.5 kilos as a handheld hoover.
Areas for improvement
There is no display, a feature that often appeals to users. In addition, the hoover’s run time is quite short, around 25 minutes. You could extend it, but you would have to buy a second battery compatible with the model and rechargeable.
3) Tineco Pure One S12 – Two built-in batteries for increased autonomy
The third model we highlight is the Pure One S12, which we discuss below:
Advantages of the Tineco Pure One S12
This is a model that comes equipped with two removable batteries, which means you can double the battery life. This translates into a total runtime of 100 minutes. If you tend to look at the more technological features, the Tineco Pure One S12 has a few. This is the case of the iLoop sensor, which is able to automatically regulate the power depending on the surface it is on, or the LED display on the body of the hoover.
On the other hand, we would like to highlight the suction power, which rises to 145 airWatts, while the nominal power reaches 500 watts. Despite its high power, it is not excessively noisy, remaining at 71 decibels. And, for added versatility, it converts into a handheld hoover. In addition, the head has LED lighting on the main part to improve visibility in darker areas. Finally, it can be synchronised with the mobile app.
Disadvantages of the Tineco Pure One S12
Its performance on delicate surfaces is not as excellent as on hard floors, as some users point out. In addition, it does not come with an additional tank or mop mops.
4) Tineco A11 Master – High suction power and complete equipment
We close the review with the Tineco A11 Master, which is one of the most complete hoovers in this selection:
What are the positive aspects of the Tineco A11 Master?
Aesthetically, it is the most attractive model, thanks to its striking metallic blue colour, which is unusual for these appliances. As for the motor, it has a power of 450 watts and a suction capacity of 22,000 Pascals, which is not bad at all. Moreover, this power can be regulated in 3 levels, which allows you to optimise the battery life of about 60 minutes. In this regard, it is important to note that it has two batteries, which will allow you to always have one of them ready. The tank is easy to empty and can hold up to 600 ml of dust.
If we focus on the filters, it is worth highlighting the high-efficiency HEPA filter included in the 4 levels of filtration it has. In addition, the Tineco A11 Master’s accessory kit is really complete: it includes two motorised LED brushes to satisfactorily clean carpets and hard floors, and a small electric brush with which you can also absorb your pet’s hair. In addition, there is a soft brush and several nozzles that can be interchanged whether you use it as a broom or a handheld hoover.
What factors could be improved in the Tineco A11 Master?
To be fair, the only thing we would highlight negatively is that it doesn’t have an LED display, an accessory that, in addition to being very useful, would complement the technological and avant-garde aspect of the hoover much more.
Which Tineco cordless hoover to buy?
The variety of models and functionalities offered by this brand is one of the widest on the market, as its hoovers are very different from one another. Therefore, the choice will vary depending on which criteria you prioritise. From a technical point of view, the decision would be between the Tineco Floor One S3 and the A11 Master, which are the ones that combine the best features. It is worth noting that one of them is capable of mopping, but the other offers a lot of versatility thanks to its complete equipment and its conversion into a handheld hoover.
If, on the other hand, you prioritise the economic aspect, the Tineco A10 Hero will be the one that best suits what you are looking for. Its price is significantly lower and, although it does not have the same innovative features as the others, it will satisfy the cleaning function in any home.
Now that you have all the information at your disposal, it is time to weigh up the four options and make your choice. If you’re still in doubt, it’s always a good idea to check out the reviews on Amazon.
Tips for choosing the perfect cordless hoover
Not all users are fully aware of the important elements when comparing hoovers. For this reason, we have summarised some of the most important criteria that you can use as a basis for deciding between different hoovers:
- Power: There are two different types of power to consider. On the one hand, the power of the motor, which is measured in watts, and for which a power of more than 250 watts is already quite good. On the other hand, the suction power, which is measured in airWatts or Pascals. Generally, the higher the power rating, the more the suction power will reach, although this does not necessarily have to be related.
- Tank capacity: Tineco hoovers have a fairly large tank capacity. For your reference, the average for this type of hoover is between 400 and 500 ml per tank. In addition, Tineco hoovers have an easy and hygienic emptying system.
- Functionalities: not all Tineco hoovers are multifunctional. Some can vacuum and mop at the same time, others can also be used as a handheld hoover, and there are models that can only be used as an upright hoover.
- Accessories: the more complete the equipment, the more versatile the hoover will be. Most Tineco models have a good range of accessories, so you don’t have to worry about the versatility of the hoovers.
- Battery: as you can see, battery life is not one of Tineco’s strengths. This is why many of its models are equipped with two removable batteries.
- Ergonomics: if you are going to buy a broom hoover, it is likely that you will use it to clean different surfaces. For this reason, it is not recommended that they weigh more than 2.5 kilos. Tineco is well aware of this, and all the models we have analysed weigh less than 2.5 kg.
